Lara PhilipsHi spectacular Stallions and parents! My name is Lara Phillips and I am going to be teaching 5th grade Math this school year. This will be my 4th year in education and my 2nd year here at Smith Elementary. I love what I teach because I have a passion for seeing students grow as students and individuals.

I have a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University. This year we will be learning many new things! I cannot wait to help you get better at learning how to solve challenging word problems in math. I grew up in Bryan, TX and my favorite things to do include running, riding my bike, and cooking. When I am not teaching, I spend my time with family and friends.
